Tummy Aches for Zac...

Today was Zac's birthday party. As I  am writing this (with 10-month-old in hand because she had too much sugar and WILL NOT SLEEP) I am feeling rather disgusting. Quite odd when you are talking about your 4-year-olds birthday, right? Well, not if you ate a good portion of the cake! Which I did, and will probably do again in another month when Will turns 9!

The Cox family had fun today. The whole family pitched in to get ready for the party, which for me, was more fun than the party itself. Now that I think about it, there wasn't one fight today. Maybe we should throw parties more often. Perhaps I have just discovered a bit of genius!

The real fun began when this was delivered...
This was our Spiderman bounce house. They bounced and they bounced and they bounced. Will came inside at one point and said, "Wow, that really tires you out." Which of course was the plan.

Here's our little Birthday Boy (notice, no paci) as he takes a break to pose for his mom.

and here he is with some of his buddies...

and here he is washing away all the sugar from his second piece of cake right before bed (in case you were wondering, this is a perfectly acceptable time to have cake, because if he doesn't I will and that is not acceptable!) (you might also wonder why is left hand is cupped and not lying flat on the countertop, yep he's hiding the paci)...

So, as I sit here with a tummy ache and maybe even a few extra pounds I marvel at my baby, Zac. He is such a rough and tumble little guy, but his heart is soooo big. (this weekend, he did tell a friend he wouldn't be his friend anymore but we are pretty sure that was just a small glitch in his overall good personality.) He makes me laugh everyday and life would not be complete with out him. I will eat until my tummy hurts any day to celebrate this little guy!
