I write this post with a very heavy heart. Instead of sharing our stories from New York, I will share sad news about our dog Snoop. While we were in NYC, Snoop ruptured a disc in his back. His back legs are paralyzed. We are hoping his surgery today will fix this. We have a 50/50 chance. We love Snoop. We miss Snoop.
This is Snoop on the way to his surgery. We hope we can share a picture of him on his way home. So, pray for him, think about him, hope that he will be back to driving us all crazy very, very soon!

Football to hair glue
Football is over for our little ones. A week ago I would have said finally over, but of course now that it is over it's not so fun. We don't really know what to do with ourselves when this happens. You see where we live Football is life. Even though I try really hard to maintain a balance, I lose. Every single year. Will has been playing since 1st grade. Chris is coach. They practice, they play games, they watch it on tv. It's all they do for several months.
Hanna is a cheerleader. So, in our free time away from Will's football, we watch her team play. Then we may go to an OSU football game, and we may even go to a Kansas City Chiefs game. See what I mean?
So now we are in recovery mode. It's getting a little better.
The big news around here today is Hanna. She has a cheer competition in the morning. She has worked really hard! We are all excited for her. We are not excited about the hair glue I just bought (they told me to!). The hair glue I have to put in her hair with rollers tonight. Rollers she can't take out until the competition tomorrow. This should be interesting. What a transition...football to hair glue. Need I say more?

Changes
We are going through lots of changes in our household right now. Football is over, which means Chris and Will are home which means lots of things. Like, they get a lot of stuff out and don't pick up.
In addition, this week, our kitchen is being remodeled. Very fun on the first day. We get to eat out, no where to do dishes, wow less work for me. Today is the fourth day and I'm not having fun anymore. Thankfully this change will pass soon.
The other ones are going to be a bit more painful for us all. Especially those of us who don't like to pick up our room more than a few times a year. Yes, this mom has finally gotten over it! Come hell or high water, their closets and the hangers will be used. This is Day Two. We are currently without television, music, cell phone, computer, or XBox privileges! Wow.
To make everyone even crankier we ARE eating healthy, healthy, healthy! That started out with a big 'ol bang! The bang would be an argument over whether or not mash potatoes and mac and cheese as a meal were healthy. They aren't, I won. Child quickly pointed out Chips and salsa weren't either. Darn! Be careful what you wish for parents. Unless you too are ready for a change.
Paci update-Only in bed (most of the time). Still LOOOOOVVVVEEEES it and insists big boys do have them. They don't, right?
