Midnight movie madness

It's a fact, my kids talk me into crazy things. Usually it involves spending way too much money on something they play with for about 24 hours. This time it involved sleep, or lack thereof (I don't like my sleep messed with! What little I get I like.). It also involved vampires and werewolves. You guessed it...we went to the midnight movie of Eclipse. Yes, I did say midnight which actually turned into 1 a.m. and bed at 3:30 a.m.

It was fun. I never need to do that again, ever.

Braces, braces and more braces

We have been talking about braces ALOT this summer in our household. Hanna had an official countdown. I know it, Chris knows it, her brothers and sister know it, and anyone else who came in contact with our family this summer knows it. She was obsessed!

Do I understand this? No, I do not. Could we have bought her some really cool things with the thousands of dollars we are spending on her teeth? You bet. Would she like them as much as the braces, probably not. Have I accepted this yet? Not completely. Does it matter that I haven't accepted it? As usual, no.
