Why, why, why can I not be more reliable as a blogger? Oh yeah, I have four children! I have thought about my blog many, many times but my caffeine habit will only tide me over until about 10ish then I am a mess. A tired, crazy mess and so is my house which I why you haven't heard from me in a while.
So, it's 10:15 p.m.. Forgive me if this isn't completely coherent.
We celebrated Will's ninth birthday today. We had so much fun! Bowling and go carts with his best buddies. Money well spent. We were coming home from the party, and I was sooo excited for him to see his brand new bike sitting right in the center of the garage. His brand, new bike. Did he notice it? Nope. Did I have to point it out for him? Yes. Has he been on it yet, no. He had to come inside and work on his fantasy basketball team. Seriously! Did I say he was 9 or 19? Oh yeah 9.
So in this spirit his Dad and I are going to the World Series tomorrow, ALONE. No kiddos. First time in a long, long time. Do we feel guilty? Not anymore.

Why we have babies
Kids are our little treasures, blessings, gifts, etc., etc, etc. But lets just be REALLY honest. One of my greatest joys when my kids are little, specifically girls, is buying clothes. Really, really cute clothes. Abby is 10 months. She is thinking really seriously about walking. Soooooo, we had to get some really cute shoes, right? Here she is in her really cute shoes. Yes, I know she is not walking, in fact, I'm pretty sure they have hindered her walking, but......she looks good!
Now, I just need to clarify two quick things, before we go on our way. One, Abby really was a surprise. I didn't plan her and not tell anyone just so I could by those super cute baby clothes. And, yes I can be shallow, however I was getting her all dressed up to go to Church! That makes it ok, right?
