Messy cars and morals

Ok, so today I devoted almost my entire day to football and cheerleading. I do this every Saturday for a very long time. Like through November.

The day started out quite wonderful. I went to Target by myself. Wow! Went to yoga, again by myself. Wow! Two places in one day. Then I hurried home to get three kiddos ready for Will's football game. This included getting Hanna's ENTIRE uniform (we struggle at this!), including her hair bow ready in advance, because we wouldn't have time to come home in between games (of course she wouldn't just WEAR the uniform). We go to Will's game and have a leisurely time. Boys score mucho touchdowns and I'm enjoying conversation with women my age. WOW! I definitely should have known there was chaos in the future.

We leave the game, arrive at Mimi and Papa's with 20 minutes to get Hanna ready. Is the uniform in the car? Not that I kind find until....I drive all the way home which is 20 minutes out of our way and realize....in the midst of freaking out about my car being messy I stuck the uniform in the under compartment of the car and...forgot! OMG! Of course I realize it was in the car the whole time after....I lecture Hanna on being selfish and how she was more worried about herself than helping me get everything ready, blah, blah, blah.

Soooooooo, the moral of the story is...when things are going good they will always go bad and don't freak out about your car being messy!
